2012 La Crescent Youth Soccer - Spring Rec League

Welcome to the La Crescent Lightning spring recreational youth soccer program. This is a recreational (play for fun) program designed for all youth ages 5-14 who have an interest in soccer. More than 400 youth and parents from La Crescent each year have helped make this program a great success. The U5 and U6 program will be kept in-house and held at the Old Hickory Park facility on Saturday mornings. U5 players must be 5 years old by September, 1, 2011 to participate. U7 and up games are played between local communities on weekends and practices are held after school or early evenings one or two nights a week based on age and field availability.

The game schedule for 2012 the season will begin approximately mid-April and conclude in mid-May. 

Registration fee is $35 for U5-U6 and $70 for U7 traveling and older. These fees include a
t-shirt and soccer ball for all players U5/U6 and a t-shirt to all U7 and older. Jerseys are supplied and returned at the end of the season. Players must provide black shorts, shin guards, soccer cleats and socks. Socks and other spirit wear items are available for purchase.

How do I register?

There are two ways to register for LYSA soccer:

1. Attend the Registration Fair held on January 21, 2012. Notices will be sent to all area schools for distribution to students.  The fair will be held from 9:00AM to noon at the Fire Station in the community room.

2. Download and complete the registration forms located under the Form tab (click here). Once completed, please return it by the published deadline to:
