2009 La Crescent Youth Soccer - U6/U7 Program

Welcome to the U6/U7 Program for La Crescent Youth Soccer! We use a low-key approach to teaching your kids soccer. We use a variety of interactive games, drills and scrimmages to teach your children the game of soccer. Our approach is very low-key with an emphasis of having fun. You will know that we have had a successful season if your child looks forward to practice each week!

Each player will receive their own soccer ball and club t-shirt. These will be handed out during the first practice. Your child will be part of a team that averages 7 children per team. Each team is a mix of boys and girls.

An important part of your children's experience is the coach they will have. Our coaches are a mix of parents and middle school/high school students. This means we need someone like you as coach. Please consider coaching your child’s team. I will provide you with all the coaching materials and supplies you will need to make your experience enjoyable. You could also partner with another parent and coach together.

Coaching at the U6 level is a wonderful way to experience the season with your child. Plus, they get to call you coach!!
