U4-U10 (Grades Pre K – 5th grade)

LYSA will be taking part in the 6th Annual F.A.S.T program along with the West Salem and Onalaska communities.  The emphasis of this training will be to develop basic athletic movement and touch on the ball in a fun environment.

Practices will be once a week on Sunday’s for 1hr 15 min starting August 27th and running till October 7th.  All practices will be run by licensed MVS Coaches and will be at Old Hickory Park in La Crescent.

Pre-K – K                           Sunday 5:30 – 6:45 PM
1st – 2nd Grade             Sunday 4:15 - 5:30 PM
3rd- 5th Grade               Sunday 5:30 – 6:45 PM

Starting on September 9th, we will have mash updates on Saturday mornings either in La Crescent or 1 of the other 3 communities listed above.  Mash updates, times and locations are listed below.

Mash up dates will entail a short training session followed by games.  In the games, the players will be divided up by age and/or size, and/or ability, and/or gender depending on the turnout for each mash up.  Kids will not be divided by community, as we want the kids to play with and against everyone. 

Cost for F.A.S.T. is $40.

MVS will be offering a fall tournament only team(s) for the girl’s high school age group.  Tournaments will be determined by the coach with input from the parents once the team(s) are formed.

Practice: Practice will be at Old Hickory Park starting in mid-August and ending in early November.  Practices will be 2-3 days a week. Practices will be planned to start at 6 pm so players can play high school fall sports.

Tournaments: 3 total tournaments with exact tournaments to be determined.  Tournaments could be in WI, IA, IL or another surrounding state. Coaches will narrow down the tournaments and confirm dates that work best for the team.

Tryouts: If there is enough interest that we have over what MVS can accommodate on a single roster we will have tryouts and possible a 2nd team. 

Cost: $325

Covid 19 – All coaches, players, and parents will need to adhere to state guidelines regarding youth sports.

MVS will be offering a fall SMSL regular season option for birth years 2010 and younger.

Practice: Practice will be at Old Hickory Park starting in mid-August and ending in late October.  Practices will be a minimum 2 days a week. Practices will be planned to start at 6 pm, subject to change due to daylight.

League: Regular season will consist of 6 total games, 3 away and 3 home (Old Hickory Park).  MVS will also be playing teams in an end of the year tournament. 

Tryouts: If there is enough interest that we have over what MVS can accommodate on a single roster we will have tryouts and possible a 2nd team.
